Ok thanks for telling me you had a sorta selfie in there – it totally counts but you know the kind of selfies I want to see ahem ;D And I think my favorite one is the two snow ones..cant believe you had that much snow but also, the sparkling snow is sooo so pretty. I haven’t ever experienced that much snow but the pictures suffice 🙂

one of my new year’s resolutions this year was to take the time to edit my own personal photos, specifically of my boys.  I have so many wonderful shots of them that are just sitting in a folder on my hard drive being neglected.  I’m going to try and blog about them at least once […]

One of the sweetest and FASTEST little one years old I’ve met to date!  Meet Laura (again).  I photographed her back when she was only 6 months old and she returned to celebrate her 1st birthday with a cake smash session.  She was already busy and moving around A LOT when she was 6 months […]

o m gee! I am so bringing Michelle for her 1st birthday for a cakesmash. I love that collage. Can we pick whatever colours we want for it?

  • Alexia - April 18, 2012 - 2:43 pm

I love that collage idea. Do you offer in sizes other than square? I would like to do a smash the cake for my son’s 1st birthday in August.

  • Sara - April 21, 2012 - 2:07 pm

Hi Jennifer. Yes you can choose whatever colours you want. I send out a colour picker file with all the colour hex numbers so you can choose from it to make sure you get the right colour you want.

  • Sara - April 21, 2012 - 2:08 pm

Hi Alexia, Thanks for stopping by. I just responded to your email (sorry for the delay, have sick kids at home right now). I offer any size you want, and can quote you a price when you tell me the size and # of photos you want in it.

  • Marsha - February 17, 2017 - 12:55 am

Love your cake smash collage! How much do you charge? Thinking 20×20 maybe. Also, how does it work? Is it a digital file that I have printed? Thanks!

I had a session yesterday with a fabulous family who’s four month old was way too cute to describe.  I find babies between 2 to 5 months are the most difficult to photograph because they want to move but don’t quite have control over their limbs so arms and legs are flying all over the […]

    What a sweet little face…

This little guy was so cooperative for the majority of the session.  How gorgeous is he?  After having the chance to spend a few hours with his new loving parents, I could see they are both naturals and so excited to have him finally join their family.  Congratulations Laura and Adam!

beautiful image. Sara is this on a beanbag chair? how do you get your blanket so smooth ?

  • Sara - April 21, 2012 - 2:06 pm

Hi Jenny, sorry for the delay…missed this comment. I have the parent pull the blanket tight on the sides and otherwise just make sure it’s smooth

Just finished up the edits on these newborn shots while I’ve been off for a few days over the holidays.  Isn’t he gorgeous?  Like I mentioned in my last post (his sneak peek), he was 5 weeks old for this session, but because he was also 5 weeks early, I think it really helped in […]

Hi Sara, I found you from a pin someone did on pinterest. I love these newborn photos. Do you use a beanbag chair for these? I read that you only use natural light, so do you ever use an external flash or reflectors?

  • Jen Spacer - January 8, 2012 - 2:58 pm
