Wow did this last month fly by. I am sort of cheating…this should really be titled 10 on 9. The 10th this month was a crazy day and I completely forgot to even pick up my camera so I’m using some photos I took the day before, since I love them anyway

the 10th came and went and again we had gray skies with intermittent rain…the weather is not making this project any easier to follow through with.

The boys wanted to go puddle jumping so we grabbed our rubber boots and headed out. I had to get a shot of the Leafs logo since game six was that night. We were excited they won however sadly they lost game 7 IN OVERTIME to Boston and are officially out of the playoffs. I cannot believe the Leaf’s were up 4-1 with only ten minutes to go and LOST! Spirits were low at the office on Tuesday.

After dinner, Connor wanted a ‘battle’ which apparently was going to take place at the park…I’d never even heard him use this term before but next thing I knew they were busting out the costume chest and picking their super heroes for the battle. They also tried to convince me that they ‘needed’ their swords (ya, the swords stayed at home…I really didn’t feel like being yelled at by any parents because my kid tried to stab their kid).

When we got home, it was the usual routine…snack, book, bedtime (I admit to setting up the last three shots lol).

the above two shots were taken at ISO 6400! This is why I cannot live without my D700!

Claudio 12 days new > Toronto Newborn Photographer

I have never in my life laughed so hard during a newborn session. This little guy was a machine – a poop machine! He nailed every single blanket, and just when I thought there was no way he could do it again (despite multiple warnings from his dad), he did! His mom helped me out so much during this session and we were giggling throughout it.

He’s lucky he’s cute or he would have been in my bad books lol. Look at how sweet he is, and his colouring was beautiful! Enjoy

10 on 10 > April

Cold, gray and rainy. This has been the pattern for the last few weeks and it’s far from inspring. This time last year we were wearing shorts, bike riding and going for nice long walks in the evening after work. My boys keep asking when summer is going to get here and I have finally stopped staying ‘soon’.

I bought the boys some bubble guns on Easter so my mom came by and we sat out on our front porch while they went to town with their guns. The batteries died on one of them quickly and of course I couldn’t find more so they had to share (that always turns out well).

The boys hadn’t opened up some loot bags they brought home from a party this past weekend so they got into those. As you can see, chocolate was found in abundance. Zach had a large purple foam foot in his and I still have no clue what the point of it is. The pouty face on Connor was caused by Zach temporarily refusing to share the foot with him. FOR THE RECORD, it was NOT me that got these terrible haircuts for them!

And for anyone reading this, sorry for the over share but I had to get some shots of this to hold over my heads some later in life. These are his two hiding spots…for what you ask? Well lets just say he’s not fully potty trained yet and makes me put a diaper on him for these moments.

I am loving my new studio. The huge bay window lets in so much light and I have flooring other than carpet (yay). I had the pleasure of photographing this little sweetie there recently and wanted to share some of my favs.

Zach turns 5!

I can’t believe it’s been five years since I was in the hospital giving birth to my sweet little Zach (or Zachary as he likes to be called). His favourite things are cheese strings, Captain America, Optimus Prime and LegoNinjago. He loves funny books and loves to make up his own stories to them. He has the smelliest farts on the planet and makes me stand in the washroom with him to make sure there’s no bugs behind him (we have a trailer we spend weekends at in the summer so I’m thinking this is where that started lol). Everything he says right now ends in ‘FOR REAL!’. He has a girlfriend named Bethany at school that he apparently kisses all the time when his teacher isn’t looking and he every random stick he finds on the ground becomes a gun. Happy Birthday Zach – I love you sooo much!!!
