Maybe I’m crazy, but I’m attempting yet another photography Project this year. What is 10-on-10? Well I need to take ten photos on the tenth day of each month…the photos should represent my day in some way, whether it’s ten shots from a particular moment or just random shots throughout day is entirely up to me so this should be easy right? ….ya we’ll see.
The cool thing about this project is that there are seven very talented photographers participating in it with me from all over Canada and the united states. At the end of our posts each month we will link to one of the others post to complete a circle…and voila! you have a blog circle 🙂
January 10th was fairly uneventful…by the time I picked up the kids and arrived home, it was already dark out and the kids tummies were raging so dinner was first on the list. My boys LOVE to help in the kitchen and today we decided to make egg salad sandwiches…they don’t actually like these very much but they always want to make them because they love to peel the shells off the hard boiled eggs. It always makes me laugh that something so simple can be so amusing to them.
Zach was a bit upset that they egg had already cracked since that is his favourite thing to do…
And then ofcourse he finds another one that had already cracked…oh oh, mommy’s in big trouble now!
One show before reading each of them a book of their choice and then it’s bedtime.
And the lights go out…good night!

I totally get that disappointment when the egg has already cracked while boiling! Banging an egg on a counter top to start the process is more than half the fun! Love these images and especially the one of “lights out”!
OMG is he licking that egg?! Ha! These are great, Sara! Your boys are so cute…and getting soooo big!
LOL…Jordan stole my comment about the egg licking! These are wonderful moments captured!
Awww Sara I loved this entire set! The first picture is love. Actually all of them – the boys look like they’re having so much fun and I can’t believe how much they’ve grown up in the past few months! Really a nice day spent with your kiddies 🙂
these are so sweet hon! Zach looks all grown up in these…and so skinny!
What a neat idea this is, and your photographs are wonderful!
Oh I love these Sara! I cannot believe how grown up your boys have gotten! They are precious. I think my favorite is the first one!
these are so cute Sara. What’s with the black and white though? and when the heck are you taking down that Christmas tree?
That is pretty sweet you have little dinner helpers. And love the T.V. stare. I know that all too well… Can’t wait to see more!!
OMG Sara your boys are truly the cutest!! I love their big eyes and adorable smiles! So fun!!! Your pics are amazing as always! love seeing a little glimpse into your evening! lol Thanks again for inviting me into the group! xo
Sara, I thought I commented on everyone’s post last week, I’m sorry I missed yours! I love the egg shots! My littlest loves eating eggs all the time…totally can relate!
